I am a former career Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. I have over 30 years of clinical experience of which I spent 10 years in Hospital based Maxillofacial surgery, training and carrying out complex surgical procedures. With an emphasis on Oral Surgery, Facial Surgery and trauma, Head and Neck Surgery and ENT (Ear Nose and Throat).
I am a qualified Doctor, Dentist and Surgeon and I am registered with the GMC and GDC. I hold a Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and I am on the Specialist register. I have extensive training and experience in Oral Surgery, implantology, Dental reconstruction, aesthetic medicine and dentistry. As an experienced clinician who has trained in multiple specialities, I am able to offer a holistic approach to patients. I keep up-to date within my scope of practice, and I am actively engaged in continual professional development as required by the GDC and GMC followed by yearly appraisal and revalidation as a registered Doctor.
I have a great interest in Psychology and Human behaviour and especially enjoy treating patients who have phobias which may require extensive treatment. I find
this very personally rewarding. I am very experienced and offer sedative techniques for anxious patients including Intravenous sedation.
I have also got extensive experience in Facial aesthetics and have been carryout
these procedures for over 22 years. This ranges from the use of Toxins and fillers to improve aesthetics and facial contours to minor facial surgery and removing unwanted lesions. I feel this compliments the other facial and Dental treatments I
carry out and provides a more comprehensive approach to the patient Aesthetic and functional needs.
In my spare time I enjoy skiing, clay pigeon shooting, cycling and travelling.
We use modern dental technology to ensure precise diagnoses, efficient treatments, and a more comfortable patient experience.
